Carol Ferro

PA to Chief Executive & Office Coordinator

Carol joined VCW in April 2011 as an HR volunteer. In February 2012 she took on the role of Personal Assistant to Chief Executive and Office Coordinator.
Carol studied Psychology and is an HR professional with large experience in her native city of Barcelona with past experience in recruitment, training, organizational development, talent management, internal communication and CSR. Carol particularly enjoys working closely with employees on people-related issues, and driving improvement across organisational effectiveness. She has been based in London since November 2010.
Carol’s thoughts on volunteering:
'Volunteering literally has transformed my life in London. I have realized that volunteering is not only giving your time to do something useful for the community but is also believing in you and in the fact that you can help changing others' lives (and even your own life). I have experienced firsthand that volunteering is not only an act of kindness, it is a way of life. My suggestion: Just do it!… Do volunteering and give yourself a chance to change things and transform lives.'
