Michelle Gardner-Ford

Volunteer Engagement and Best Practice Manager

Michelle joined Volunteer Centre Westminster in August 2005 as a project coordinator and is now the centre’s Volunteer Engagement and Best Practice Manager. Her role is to advise and support volunteer involving organisations with their volunteer programme, offering good practice advice and training.
Michelle previously worked as an information and project officer for a small crime reduction charity.

Michelle’s thoughts on volunteering

‘The great thing about volunteering is there’s something for everyone, as well as that you can learn new skills or use your skills to help others. I’ve seen firsthand how volunteering makes a difference to people’s lives and I feel fortunate to be involved in this area of work’
