Yohannes Hagos

VolEmploy Mentoring Scheme Coordinator & Brokerage Services Team Leader

Yohannes joined Volunteer Centre Westminster in June 2003 and currently runs the VolEmploy mentoring programme for unemployed, particularly BME and deprived members of the Westminster community.
Previously Yohannes worked with refugees and asylum seekers, has collaborated with Central London Job Centre Plus, he managed the London Ambassador programme and has worked widely with a range of other community organisations in delivering volunteering. He also taught basic ESOL classes at Morely College and Lambeth Community Organisation from 1993 until 1999.
