Volunteering Partnership Awards 2010
Cllr Colin Barrow, Leader of Westminster Council, presented the 2010 Volunteering Partnership Awards at Lord’s Cricket Ground, to recognise local employers and charities that achieved life-transforming projects in Westminster.
The award scheme run by Time & Talents at Volunteer Centre Westminster, which was initially funded by Westminster City Partnership, celebrates excellence in two categories: innovation and sustainability. |

Marie Broad, manager of Time & Talents for Westminster believes the awards are signalling a new era where corporate relationships are taking on greater importance in addressing social needs. “This year’s awards have taken the level up to an exciting new stage – these are employers and charities really listening and responding to priority needs in a meaningful and long term way. Genuine and non-competitive partnerships are thriving in Westminster and all sides are benefiting, with the community at the very heart of success.”
