About us

Established in 1996, Time & Talents for Westminster is an award winning employee volunteering brokerage service which operates as part of the Volunteer Centre Westminster.

Time & Talents is a not for profit partnership enabling private, public and voluntary sector organisations to work together to deliver effective Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV) and local corporate community involvement (CCI). The Time & Talents programme is run by Volunteer Centre Westminster with an organisational mission to ‘transform lives through volunteering.’

We provide brokerage and project support for our members. Our role is to get employee volunteers to engage with community groups, giving their time and skills. We are most interested to encourage projects that address real and high community needs in a meaningful and enhanced manner, ie projects that enable charities do things they could not have done on their own and that add value and use niche company skills.

Our partners like to keep in touch with each other to make sure they work strategically, tackling real needs within the local community. A number of events throughout the year help to facilitate this process.

We find that the best partnerships are where there is natural synergy and a cross over of interests. On the company side we are keen to make sure that where desired projects factor in team building and personal, professional and skills development. On the community side, ensuring that grassroot community needs are genuinely met and sustained relationships are developed are priority.
