Gareth joined Volunteer Centre Westminster in March 2010 as Chief Executive. His responsibilities include the overall running and management of the Volunteer Centre.

PA to Chief Executive

Carol joined the Centre in April 2011 and currently her role is to assist and give support to the Chief Executive and maintain an efficient office environment.

Michelle Gardner-Ford

Volunteer Engagement and Best Practice Manager

Michelle's role is to advise and support volunteer involving organisations with their volunteer programme, offering good practice advice and training

Volunteer Engagement and Best Practice Officer

Joining the Centre in 2008, Yuriy supports organizations and community groups in Westminster with their volunteer programs, trains volunteer managers and organizes volunteer managers’ forums.

Yohannes Hagos

VolEmploy Mentoring Scheme Coordinator and Brokerage services Team Leader

Yohannes joined Volunteer Centre Westminster in June 2003 and currently runs the VolEmploy mentoring programme for unemployed

Samia Zaki

Westbourne Youth VolEmploy

Samia is responsible for the new Youth VolEmploy pilot aiming to reduce unemployment in the local Westminster ward of Westbourne. Pilot runs between December-April 2014.

Nigel Barber

Volunteer Brokerage Coordinator

Joined the Centre in July 2011 and manages a team of twenty reception volunteers who help Westminster residents find suitable volunteering opportunities in Westminster.

VCW Brokerage Volunteering Assistant

Joined VCW in April 2012, assisting with promoting volunteering to potential volunteers and and working with the Best Practice team in supporting organisations with volunteers provided through the Centre.

Projects Team Leader and Project Coordinator for Vol4Health & Well Being

Louise joined VCW in 1998 and coordinates volunteering for people with learning disabilities in Westminster and projects related to health

Mike Winn

Project Coordinator for supporting adults with learning disabilities to volunteer

Mike joined Volunteer Centre Westminster in January 2010 and supports adults with learning disabilities into different volunteering roles.

Stephanie Taylor

Sports Volunteering and Events Project Coordinator

Steph joined the Centre in January 2012 and works both on the Sports Volunteering (City Transformed Through Sport) and City Guides Projects

CRB Administrator & City Guides Support Officer

Susan joined Volunteer Centre Westminster in September 2009. Her responsibilities are overall running and administration of the CRB service we offer at the Volunteer Centre.

Pete Jones

Employee Volunteer Manager

Pete manages the Time & Talents team and oversees strategic development of the programme including business and memberships and overall operational management

Partnerships Officer

Joining the Centre in 2012, Lizzie works with a range of companies, government departments and charities to facilitate Employer Supported Volunteering and broker staff into volunteering roles

Website & External Comms Coordinator

Sholi joined the Centre in June 2009 and is responsible for web development and external comms at the Volunteer Centre. He is also a part of the Time & Talents team, working with employers.
