TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

All City Guides are invited to attend a variety of training courses after they have volunteered during at least 1 event. The training courses are designed to develop the skills you need to excel as a City guide.

The training is split into 3 areas, and you can choose to attend the training which interests you the most.

1. A day training course covering the following areas

   • Communication skills

   • Customer Care skills

   • Teamwork

   • Dealing with Conflict

2. First Aid Training

3. Information on Westminster

Once the 1 training day has been completed, you will be able to volunteer as a Team Leader, and lead a group of volunteers at the next City Guides event.
