WELCOME TO CITY GUIDES

City Guides provide a mobile event and tourist information service to visitors of events throughout Westminster. As a source of information about the event, local facilities and transport links, City Guides role is to make sure visitors to the event have all the information they need to enjoy their time in Westminster.

Volunteering as a City Guide is an opportunity to put your skills to use in one of the most diverse communities in the country. You will have the chance to develop new skills, meet new people and be a part of London’s most famous events.

25th July 2010 - 20 City Guides assisted with Kensington Gardens first FUSE festival, which showcased a range of arts opportunitites for young people across London to get involved with. It was the first event for a number of Personal Best students, one said "I think everyone found us very helpful, it was very enjoyable".

6th June 2010 - City Guides were once again out in force. At Taste of Spain on Regent Street over 50 City Guides helped promote stores, activities and a free giant paella that made its way down Regent Street. City Guides ended the day volunteering at the BAFTA TV awards, helping spectators and celeb spotting!
