Upcoming Event: -
In Partnership with Volunteer Centre Westminster and Voluntary Action Westminster, there is going to be a workshop called Retaining Volunteers. This is a free course being held on Wednesday 25th January 2012 from 2pm - 5pm at the Migrant Resource Centre, 24, Churton Street, London SW1V 2LP. (Churton Street is off Belgrave Road). Please see map below.
Course description: - Find out what you need to know about retaining and keeping volunteers. This workshop covers the following areas:
- Induction and written policies for volunteers.
- Role descriptions, training and placement of volunteers.
- Supervision of volunteers and communication.
- Recognition of volunteer contributions.
Your trainers will be Michelle Gardner-Ford and Yuriy Tarzhumanhov
