Involving young volunteers

Young Volunteers can bring fresh ideas, skills and knowledge to the voluntary sector providing substantial community benefit. Hundreds of young people have started volunteering in a huge range of roles – from being sports coaches to fundraising, administrative support and website design for voluntary organisations to name just a few! All through the FREE help and support provided by vinvolved Central London.

On www.do-it.org. Via a monthly newsletter vMail which reaches thousands of young people in Central London. Through our Youth Volunteer Advisors who have contacts with educational establishments, youth clubs and many other youth involving organisations in Central London

Bi-annual forums:

Workshops on involving young volunteers such as fundraising, safeguarding young volunteers and details about vetting and barring scheme. The opportunity to meet and listen to young people talk about their volunteering experience. Networking opportunities.

Bi-annual Training sessions:

On various issues about involving young volunteers, such as, CRB checks and accreditation.
