The Time & Talents Network engages employers positively with the community through the brokerage of innovative and sustainable volunteering partnerships, matching the skills and expertise of employees with the needs of charities and community organisations.

Dedicated regional brokers supported by an experienced national team utilise their knowledge and experience of the private, public and voluntary sectors to forge mutually beneficial skills-based employer supported volunteering partnerships.

Employers and community organisations both benefit from knowledge sharing, a range of networking opportunities, staff development and an increased and enhanced profile of their organisation in the community.

As part of the Modernising Volunteering workstream, led by Volunteering England and funded by Capacitybuilders’ National Support Services programme three Volunteer Centres were awarded grant funding in 2009 to set up pilot projects brokering sustainable skills based Employer Supported volunteering partnerships. Volunteering EnglandVolunteering England provides central support to the three Volunteer Centres and Local Business Partnership Coordinators providing up to date resources, chairing a regular steering group, and developing the Network. Time & Talents for Westminster provides mentoring for the pilots and consultancy to Volunteering England.
