Employability Workshop

home

Develop and deliver an employability workshop for local women who have experienced homelessness. The content of this can vary depending on what the team feel comfortable delivering, however some suggested topics are listed below:
  • Raising aspirations about long term employment opportunities & career pathways
  • What employers are looking for
  • Selling skills / experience
  • Enterprise and pitching competition
  • Lunch and professional networking
  • CV development session – working in small groups / pairs to work on CVs
  • Mock interviews with constructive feedback (could repeat after feedback)

Duration: Half a day or 1 full day. Volunteers can deliver different sessions during the day.
Number of volunteers: Flexible 2-6 volunteers
Budget required: Non
