Charity & Events Committee member for charity supporting people with learning disabilities

WSPLD Appeals Committee 2A Westminster organisation is seeking new volunteer members for its Fundraising and Events Committee.

This local London charity provides services for people with learning disabilities from infancy to old age. Following the recent cuts, the funds raised by the Fundraising Committee are essential in providing funding for much-needed activities which were under threat of closure.

The Committee meets in the early evening approx. every 4 – 6 weeks in a member’s home in vicinity of Westminster.

We are looking for those with experience who may be willing, in due course, to take part in running fundraising events. If interested, applicants would be welcome to a meeting as an observer before deciding whether to join the Committee.
