Charity Starts Online - Volunteer Run Workshop 20.02.11

Talks and workshops from Bing and Microsoft employee volunteers to help you grow your charity online

Starting out on your online journey is exciting, but can be daunting, particularly as the pace of change quickens. And yet we all know that making the most of the internet and an online presence can give your charity a real edge in attracting donations, sourcing volunteers and supporters.

Why not come along to our online know-how event in the afternoon of Monday 20th February at Microsoft’s offices in Victoria and learn more about how the internet can help you grow your charity.

Staff from the Bing and online teams at Microsoft will give overview presentations, and will also be on hand to answer your questions on topics such as creating great website content, making your site easy to find, and optimising your paid search results. The event promises to be very useful, and spaces will be limited.

We have co-created a survey which aims to gather information form participants so that we can design the session to help you in the areas that are most needed.

The survey is here: http://BooRoo.com/s.asp?sid=b88v3jnz2xst2of19972
We would really appreciate it if you would spend a few minutes sharing your thoughts with us.

So please save the date and look out for our registration details shortly! And in the meantime, please call or email dawn@volunteer.co.uk if you have any questions.
