Volunteer Brokerage News
In addition to the drop-in service open service open five days a week to the public at our offices in Praed Street, we have started outreach work throughout the borough. Since September 2011 it has enabled us to help more than  600 Westminster residents or people who live or study throughout the borough to take the next step into volunteering.
One of the most successul aspects of the outreach work has been working closely with the Job Centre with Lisson Grove, where more than 50% of people we have seen has completed a registration form and been given a short list of volunteering opportunities by our outreach volunteers.
Every volunteer recruited through our outreach work will receive a follow up by email or telephone to provide more support, and find out how they have been progressing with their volunteering.
