As part of our Active Volunteer Management (AVM) Programme, funded by Capacity Builders we offer free training sessions around different aspects of volunteer management. Theses sessions are for all Volunteer Involving Organizations who are either based in Westminster or serve the borough. See our upcoming sessions and book your place as soon as possible!
Fundraising & Budgeting for Involving Volunteers
18 February 2011, 10 am - 1 pm
An interactive workshop to help you develop fundraising
strategies and create a budget for your volunteering
programmes.
Reward & Recognition
24 February 2011, 2.30 - 5 pm
Find creative ways to recognize your volunteers and learn
how you can put your volunteers up for awards.
Support & Supervision
03 March 2011, 10 am - 1 pm
This training will give you some tools to develop structures
for support and supervision of volunteers.
We will also go into dealing with difficult volunteers.
Volunteering & The Law
10 March 2011, 10 am - 1 pm
This session will cover a range of legal issues around volunteering.
Are CRB checks required for all volunteers? Do I need a separate
insurance policy for my volunteers? Volunteering and Benefits.
