Property Workshop for charity
During the difficult economic climate that we are currently operating in organisations are experiencing increased costs and focus on their operational spending. It is therefore important that as a socially responsible organisation we are offering as much support as possible to charities who are struggling due to decreases in funding created by the recession and its effects on the populations disposable income.
The workshop will cover some general hints and tips and then move into a surgery format so that charities can ask more specific questions.
The charity will be able to learn more about some of the subjects below: • Negotiating contracts • Lease and renewals and tenancies • Landlord and Tenant Disputes • Property Strategy • Office Relocation • Rent Reviews • Property Maintenance • Freehold and Leasehold disposals - Charity Act Requirements • Dilapidations • Planning Issues • Leasehold Acquisition • Environmental Issues • Repair Disputes • Disputes with Builders • Shared office space
