With Christmas just around the corner this is the last vInfo of 2010. The year has flown by we’ve held two training events (fundraising and accreditation) and two forums, all of which have been very well attended and for which we have received some amazing feedback. If you attended one or numerous events we hope you enjoyed them as much as we did. This month we round of the year by with the latest on what the team has been up to, some fundraising news and a couple of training events you may be interested in.
Keep warm, have a very happy Christmas and thank you for reading.
We would like to say a big thank you to all the organisations that filled in our project evaluation survey last month. We are very happy with the responses we received and are currently in the progress of compiling the evaluation report.
Our youth action team, eVolve has been very busy recently. They are in the middle of creating a video promoting volunteering, for young people by young people. It’s been a great experience for them and they have learnt a lot through the support from Chocolate Films.
They have also just been successful in the first stage of their key fund bid. ( Keyfund provides young people with the opportunity to develop the skills, confidence and self-awareness needed to better reach their potential and play a positive role in their community.) Which means they will be having fun this Christmas while ice skating and with a visit to Gourmet Burger Kitchen.
