May's vMail

Welcome to May's vMail.

It’s all got very political this month, with each of the political parties showing how they would change society for the better. Why not do your bit for society, and try some volunteering this month? The vInvolved Central London team have plenty of fun and exciting opportunities to share with you, so please take a look and let us know what you think.

News

Apologies to Ben Long at Age Concern, where the date of his volunteering opportunity in April’s vMail was displayed incorrectly. However, his new Silver Surfers opportunity is on Friday 21st May (2-4pm) in Ladbroke Grove. Computer taster sessions and mobile phone surgery for older people taught by volunteers. Teach older people how to access the internet, send an email or watch iPlayer. We will also need volunteers to show people how to send a text, add contacts and make a simple call. People will work one-to-one. We will also have a Nintendo Wii demonstration projected onto one of the walls.
