Spring into Summer Volunteering Fair!
On July 21st Volunteer Centre Westminster held a volunteering workshop and fair at The Stowe Centre on Harrow Road. The workshop offered best practise advice to a number of volunteer involving organisations, and was followed by a volunteering fair which was open to the public. The fair gave members of the public the opportunity to find out about volunteering opportunities and sign up to organisations that interested them.
The event was well attended, with over 100 members of the public visiting to find out about volunteering, and 40 people registering with the volunteer centre. The Lord Mayor of Westminster also attended to support the event and find out more about how Volunteer Centre Westminster supports the local community.
