New Government affirms commitment to voluntary sector

In an open letter from Nick Hurd, Minister for Civil Society, the Conservative Government announces the new Office for Civil Society and affirms the Conservative commitment to helping voluntary organisations establish themselves, receive support from the State and from Local Government and at the same time maintain their independence.
