Employability Workshop for Young People

This is a unique opportunity to get involved in a well developed apprenticeship program in which NEETS aged 16 to 24 have undergone pastoral sessions and a combination of apprenticeship work experience and training. The opportunity here is to create, host and facilitate a whole employability workshop, or just one session of an employability workshop covering one of the following areas

  • CV Advice / broad outline / Practical session on CV writing
  • Job interviews: do's and don'ts
  • Role Playing/panel/mock interview

The young people have come from challenged backgrounds as well as disadvantaged communities. After the apprenticeship program they are on ends, they will each seek out a job for themselves. This is an opportunity to be creative in developing an engaging series of workshops to help them prepare for that process and thus complete the program they are currently undergoing.

Workshops can be done delivered on Wednesdays or Fridays.

See here for more background information about this project. More...
