John Lewis Partnership, Victoria and the London Early Years Foundation
Project details
This three year partnership involving a number of projects including: garden renovations; trips for children and families; pro bono space planning; and funding.
John Lewis staff took up a number of projects to support nurseries across Westminster. Beautiful sensory gardens with aromatic plants and mirrors created an environment that inspired play and imagination. One garden was completed with a playhouse storage shed, canopied area, and seats made from railway sleepers.
A John Lewis space planner shared her specialist skills to help plan offices within a Children’s Centre. Trips have been organised to Vauxhall City Farm and Lego Land for children and parents.
The two organisations have built a strong and committed relationship together, with regular catch up sessions and open communication. Through this flexible and dedicated approach projects continue to be shaped to make a real difference to the lives of the children and their families.
