Volunteer Centre Westminster recognises the importance of volunteering in sport and the valuable contribution many people make to ensure sports clubs can continue to offer such an amazing variation in sporting activities. We work in partnership with the Volunteering Sector to combine knowledge, understanding, skills and abilities both sectors have.

To understand the roles of different organisations and agencies within volunteering Sport England have produced a useful guide called SportsNav which is a comprehensive guide for sports volunteer managers and coordinators. This guide helps explain the structure of the volunteering sector in relation to sport including organisations working at a national level all the way down to local level
Runningsports
Runningsports is dedicated to providing skills and support for volunteers and volunteer co-ordinators working in all sports. Your National Governing Body Your National Governing Body (NGB) Will have volunteering information on their website, or it is available through your county, regional or national contacts.
